Episode 30

Download Episode 30

In this 30th episode of Through the Aftermath, Shawn and Jonathan skip a topic to just discuss the last month of conventions, games and movies. Discussion includes:

- Fallen Earth reveals of the iPhone app and new content at the Game Developer's Conference and PAX East
- New info on Fallout: New Vegas
- What is Zombrex, exactly?
- Zombieland impressions

They also catch up on stockpiled email before the mutant rats eat through the mailbag. There should be an all-intro episode coming soon while Shawn is gone being a hippie, and then he'll talk all about his experiences when he returns!

If you have any questions or comments for the show, send them off to our new address at ttaftermath@gmail.com.

As usual, you can also keep in touch with us via the Facebook page (with a discussion board!) or Twitter.

Theme music is The Fourth Tribe by Michael Gordon Shapiro. Used with permission.

  1. Nice to see you guys back. Good show to boot. I just started playing Fallen Earth a couple of weeks ago and am really enjoying myself. I’ve been labeled as a one trick pony by my friends, seeing how I’d never played a non-fantasy MMO before. Guess this here horse done gone and broke a leg. At any rate, this is such a refreshing change of pace. My only complaint about the game so far is that scavenging and crafting are so much fun I feel guilty when I’m out questing and don’t harvest ever node I come across. I wish there was a way to turn off nodes.

Just added Moon to my Netflix queueueueue. Thanks for that as well.

    Take care,

    RC

  2. Hey Everyone,
With the demise of the TTA forums, I looked around for alternatives that the fans of TTA could call their own, and discuss books, movies, games, etc, relating to the post-apocalyptic genre.

I didn't find anything that felt open enough, so I started my own post-apocalyptic forum at Forum.PostApocalyptic.info.

If you're a fan of TTA, I invite you to stop by. If we get a good community going, we may even earn Shawn and Jonathan's stamp of approval.

  4. @FarSpace And we want that forum to cover any and all post-apocalyptic topics so anyone is free to suggest any other categories they'd like to see added. The hope is that someday it will be the default forum for anyone interested in any aspect of the post-apocalyptic genre.
